Mandy's Adventures in Time begin with
unsettling explorations of her everyday life as a
successful stockbroker until her travels take her far
from New York to Mayaland in Mexico's Yucatan--and back again.
Her strengths are enhanced as she uses logic and
humor to safely navigate through shifting reality and enter the arcane world of
The Ascended Maya.
Shamans greet Mandy on her arrival in Mayaland as though a long-awaited,
fabled Mayan storyteller of ancient times. She attempts to overrule their assumptions,
but decides to go along with it and enjoy the adventure of a lifetime. You
are swept right along with her when she is admitted into traditional Mayan ceremonies
in order to move within the veil and experience a new kind of spirituality.
Mandy stays connected to the present while traveling through
time and space just enough to take you with her. Relax, laugh, and dwell in a place that is not what it seems
to be! Once initiated, you, too, may want to leave a life of financial dreams
realized for a life where commercial success is unrealistic and of little use--and just not as exciting and wise.

“Women Who Run With the Wolves ~ Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype” by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Ph.D.
Dr. Estes created a new lexicon for describing the female psyche. It is a psychology of women unlike any other. An international best seller that continues to teah and reach out to seekers of wisdom.
Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes is a Jungian analyst and ‘catadora’ (storyteller) who searches the female unconscious via multicultural myths, fairy tales, folk tales, and even research she conducted in order to help women reconnect with the healthy, instinctual, visionary attributes of the Wild Woman archetype.

If you want to talk about Mandy's
many adventures—as well as your own, join
Mandy's Friends... a group that meets whenever
anyone feels like writing about "Within The Veil: An
Adventure in Time" (WTV). Don't worry about what to say, just write what comes to mind. Everyone else does—and Mandy does, too! This group's style has
changed over the years, but it remains true to the same basic concept that
we become bound together by some invisible thread when we read her story.
We meet only through e-mail--no chat rooms--and never at any cost to you. Once
you join this most unusual 'fan club', you are included in any e-mailing Ruth
Lee puts out after that. She writes when Spirit moves her to do so--as she
does everything else. Your letters often spark a new direction or call to order
for the group, but usually it is Ruth Lee who begins a discussion by opening "WTV" at
random and placing her magic finger on a page, then typing it out to save time
for everyone else on line. The Scribe may also pop up and write more about
whatever subject is thus discovered and explored, as well as include other
letters from Mandy’s Friends.
You are welcome to share whatever you dare, simply send your thoughts and questions
to: Ruth@RuthLee-Scribe.com and be sure to include Mandy's name in the subject
line. That will put you in contact with this most unusual group! No dues required,
but you are expected to read "Within The Veil: An Adventure in Time".
As you may have noticed while moving
through this web site, Ruth Lee is a most unusual Scribe.
She normally writes in an altered state and is guided by
the Holy Spirit, as described in
her own way on her page and within the book “The Making of a Scribe”. However, when it comes to her
books that teach in 'novel' ways, she seems to write from
somewhere within her own mind--or maybe within time? Although
Ruth Lee does not draw upon her own history or memories to
write these novels, she has discovered that her art has affected
her life and predicted the world around her as it is now—years
later.
If you can follow Ruth Lee’s work as a Scribe, welcome
to the World of the Wise--step inside a new kind of tribe
that is neither Mayan nor American, but walks a line between the two worlds.
