to Overview
Barbara is a very private person who prefers to work behind the
scenes rather in front of the footlights. She has been instrumental
in getting the work of The Scribe out to the world and helping her
daughter, Leslie , create a life in
writing. Her modesty and hard work are best described, perhaps,
by the simple lines she prepared years ago to explain her presence
in this work.
"My childhood and
youth were spent in Philadelphia, with a very strong presence of
the Protestant church. In adulthood, I continually asked to be used
as an instrument of God's work. However, it wasn't until I was introduced
to the writings of the Teachers of the Higher Planes scribed by
Ruth Lee that I knew where to look for that work and how to put
it to use in
my daily life."
It is not possible to describe, without much
input from Barbara, the life of a woman, wife, or mother who has
always worked diligently for others, but we can imagine that it
has been a long, arduous journey of self discovery and enrichment.
We salute you, Barbara, for what you do for Leslie and the rest
of your family, as well as what you did for you and this group,
too.
