Many years ago i heard about Kogi Tribe of Colombia and saw for the first time this moving and prophetic video "The Elder Brothers Warning". One of those fleeting events that leaves an indelible mark on your mind and bothers you the rest of your life. It was perhaps the first time i heard of the Eagle of the North meeting the condor of the South...or maybe not.
I can think of no more powerful message for Today's World than this film...so make sure you view it all the way to the end...and save it or share it with friends so as not to lose the source ...It is that important!
Over a year ago i made plans with the great Colombian Naturalist and Guide, Emilio Costantino, to travel to the mountains of the Kogi and other remote tribes and meet with them...It took months of work, but the Kogi and others intuited that we would meet and so on...One who looks after their best interests, particularly regarding the Colombian government and outsiders such as myself...was at first reluctant and then favored the meeting...And then something happened! It happens every so often...My Call to go to Colombia in March 2011 was pulled and i was not to make the trip for reasons not given. However, you will note that the indigenous people who had not thought about meeting with the Kogi when i was called...met at that time and i shared a video of it the other day...thus no need for be to be involved. Yes, it is weird and mysterious, but life is meant to be that way! Trust me...life does follow what i write and not the other way around. :)
