Daily Thoughts for July 23

Walking out of doors without any support or shoes on your feet will limit your distance, but it need not bother you.  Why not toughen your body enough that you can run and walk on anything now that is not too sharp or too rough?  Would it not ground you better than almost any other pursuit you may follow now?

Hey Ruth, this lesson reminds me of the story on MSN.com today titled "What 10 Leaders Wish They Had Known When They Were 22". In it the Secretary-General of the United Nations talks about your feet being firmly planted on the ground. And the founder of Craigslist talks about taking control of your image, even what you wear, because you are judged this way.
