of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and has had several exhibits of her oil
paintings. She continues to dabble in many art forms including pottery, stained
glass, and currently is designing Mayan glyphs of individual's names written
in the ancient style. In addition to her art, Millicent has adapted Ruth

| "Millicent" in Mayan Glyphs
by Millicent Smith |
Millicent first met Ruth Lee in 1996 while managing a
bookstore in suburban Pittsburgh where Ms. Lee often conducted seminars,
book signings, and occasionally met with clients. Through these contacts she was led her
to have private sessions with Ruth Lee that enabled her to contact her
own Spirit Guides and begin working independently with them alone at home.
While studying her dreams in Ruth Lee's Advanced Dream Interpretation Class,
Millicent made contact with the spirit of Arthur Ford, a famous deceased
medium, who then dictated a book to her with instructions to publish it.
She is still editing the book she and Arthur Ford wrote together in spirit,
but intends to publish it one day soon. Through her dream work, Millicent
keeps in touch with family members and others who have passed on to another
plane.

| Impressions from Mexico |
In March 2003, Millicent and Ruth Lee traveled to San Gervasio, Cozumel,
Mexico, to visit the ruins of the Mayan temple which honors the ancient Goddess
Ixchel. It was after this trip, that Millicent discovered an ancient Mayan
alphabet that enables her to combine many of her talents to create brilliant
designs in hieroglyphics of individual's names. Ruth Lee invited her to create
a type of logo of her name written in Mayan to use on her web site. It can
be viewed [here].
Millicent currently works as a legal secretary at one of the top law firms
in downtown Pittsburgh and lives close enough to walk to work and go home
for lunch. In addition to her art work, Millicent reads, does needlework,
takes diverse classes, and goes to the movies--a lot. No idle woman is she.
