One Last Prayer Request

Today, please send loving thoughts to the family and friends of two women we have prayed for here on The Blog for several years…There were three of us and within a day two were swept away after years of chemo and whatever else they did to prolong their lives with families and friends. Note: Jan is my friend since 7th grade. We walk in our mothers’ footsteps and the way we were raised…Her mother quiet and strong, a member of the Black Feet tribe…my mother well-educated and spiritual believed in ministering to the sick and dying and took me about with her rather than leave me at home with someone else… We continue our tradition of praying for others and probably thinking when young that we might be spared bad health if we did it right or enough…Alas, life has not been quite like that for either of us…That hardened our resolve to help others when possible through prayer and sending energy as we can spare it. We welcome all Prayer Warriors today to remember those sick and dying and that amazing miracles continue to happen here…

Please keep Nancy Meinert in your prayers, She had her first appt for chemo yesterday and will go every 21 days... The cancer in her lungs is growing and she is experiencing difficulty breathing. However, she is not on oxygen. She is going out to lunch today with her friends as long as she is up to it. She is persevering and quite in inspiration. [More]

I have a request for prayer. This prayer is for my cousin, Von McMonigal who had surgery Thursday, for Colon Cancer. He had flu symptoms and thought he had a virus for about a month. He went into the hospital on Tuesday, had tests on Wednesday that resulted in surgery yesterday. Von lives near Birmingham, Alabama and is 75 years old. [More]

Just getting to my e-mail after several days away clearing up work elsewhere and found this just now…Please continue to remember Lynne’s family in your prayers, especially her mother who was first to be diagnosed with cancer and is now very close to the end of her life…

Just wanted to let you know that my brother David ended his long battle with cancer this evening and is now reunited with my Dad in Heaven. Thank you for all the support and prayers. They have helped us all tremendously. [More]

Lynne wishes to thank each of you for your prayers over the years while her mother, brother, and late father struggled with cancer. The end is near for her brother and her mother is not taking this latest set-back well. You will remember that his last wish was to go to Africa and he made it with your help...

My brother is very close to the end so it is a hard week. They've finally stopped treatment and listed him as do not recussitate. We were able to speak a bit yesterday and had a wonderful heart to heart talk. The advice from my Guides on helping him see the legacy in his life was so valuable. Actually, he and I have been closer this past 6 weeks than at any time in our life. There are certainly some blessings in cancer, even though it is very painful on many levels. We are now praying the he can go peacefully and swiftly to Heaven. I'll let you know how things progress.

Today, as you move about your life, please pause and give some thought to two cancer victims who need your help in crossing over and becoming accustomed to seeing the bright light. That is the message as it came through just now, so it is only a matter of time. I so regret that it has to be said, but it is now time to pray about others who have spent their lives doing whatever they believed was right and now to accept that they cannot continue to work that hard. My neighbor Jana is a Big Sister to Mi-Vida. She recently shared part of the story of why she is motivated to help her Little Sister. “My Little’s life sounds like one of those Lifetime TV movies. Born to a teen mother, she has bounced around between family and foster care in many of her 14 years. Her father was not in her life, but was murdered in 2001. Her mother has been in and out of prison, leaving Mi-Vida to be raised by her ailing grandmother. She has witnessed drug addiction, abuse, and poverty in her family…We have a long road ahead of us. It’s been a while since we have had an update on Judy Thanks for all your prayers lifted for her... Jan

It is good to see Judy feeling well. She does not have the need to use her oxygen very often. In fact, not sure when the last time is that I’ve seen her use it during the day. She looks good, but is disappointed at her latest side effect called “neuropathy” in her fingertips. She can’t really use her hands since she is experiencing numbness in her fingertips. She’s not able to use a computer for email or to make herself lunch in the kitchen. She has been losing weight – another side effect from the medication, which is why it’s important for her to continue to eat well. I know it’s hard for her when she has no appetite, but she makes a point to try to eat well each day. I think she goes back to the doctor next week, but I think she has finished her treatment of pills at home which is why she is feeling better. [More]

Good afternoon to all my prayer warriors ! Once again I am asking for your prayers. It is such a beautiful day full of sunshine, one can feel the warmth of the Holy Spirit. Please put Carol Collet on your prayer chains. She is undergoing double lung transplant right now. Surgery expected to last eight hours or more. She will be on a ventilator etc.

Pray also for Suzanne, her husband Eric and Dick (Carol's husband). Suzanne has cerebral palsy and when stressed gets spastic muscles. This is the third trip to the hospital being prepped for the transplant. The first two something was wrong with the donor lungs so Carol was sent home. The second time she made it as far as the operating table where she laid for four hours with all the IV's etc. only to be told the donor lungs were not good.

My clients mean more to me than anyone else in this world because they put their trust in me and they provide for me, thus enabling me to pray, meditate and live this way. So, when I see one striving and doing well in the very worst of circumstances, I am happy, which may sound weird, but it is not. Today, however, I need all of you to stop for a minute and send more energy to one who has learned so much and continues to grow as she discovers the depth of her love. Judy had a PET/CT scan on Friday afternoon and her sister, Janice, went with her. Today, she met with her oncologist, Dr. Lembersky, for the results. Today was the day she was supposed to get her next treatment but due to the increasingly bad side effects, she was not going to get her treatment today – just her results. You should know that Dr. Lembersky wanted her to have a scan right after getting out of the hospital but he told them he was not expecting good results. Her last scan, results were not good – her liver showed more spots and the cancer was “lighting up” (which I guess means it’s active.) [More]
