Labyrinths popping up everywhere...

Great getting news of yet another labyrinth under construction, but this one is based on 'horse sense' as much as a spiritual need to complete. Julie dropped us this note and Becky is working on constructing one at her home now... Anyone else???

Hi Ruth,

I visited a lovely place after work today. I know a woman whose work is bringing horses and people together as a means of therapy, leadership training and team building. This evening we gathered for a laying of the stones along lines indicated by small flags. It's a very large labyrinth, with paths wide enough that a person to walk through it while being accompanied by a horse....Julie

Hey Ruth, I had my first audition for a television commercial yesterday afternoon and I am the director’s first choice. The talent agency called after the audition to tell me the director really liked me and I was his first choice but would have to wait to get final confirmation to book me for the one day filming next month. Meditating Within Labyrinths

During Dream Quest 2009 last September, we incorporated the labyrinth provided by the resort and blessed by the local American Indian shamans in our work retreating from the cares and worries of everyday life. It served the greater of good of all participants and was used daily by each of us. It was the first time many had worked within the dynamics of a labyrinth...

Updating My Mission on FaceBook

Finding FaceBook fascinating and gratifying...gaining access to so many fascinating videos, essays, and people from all walks of life. It's amazing that you can connect to so many people this way, but what boggles my mind is that i could actually be linked to someone i don't really know, yet FB says we have over 700 friends in common-- 700??? How could you not love him???

What i was trying to do is now accomplished... i now provide one-stop sharing of what interests me and many of my friends here, there, and elsewhere. Obviously, you are invited to drop by my profile page or wall, as they call it, any time and take away whatever you find...and please comment on what is shown there while getting to know others who are interested in the same subjects you're into, too.

Retreating from The World

Today we are going to work in a different way because some of you are also not clear about what it means to go on a spiritual retreat… Here is what a client sent in…

…I am in the world for many hours a day and I do talk to others quite a bit. I probably pick up a lot of energy and whatever from others because I do go to many events with lots of people and personalities. The events are usually upbeat, but you can't be in crowds constantly without picking up stuff from other people. The thing that irks me most is the anxiety-inducing tone of voice used by so many media news anchors and reporters. They almost all sound to me as if they are on the verge of having a panic attack, and I do not wish to become entrained to that kind of hyper-energy over every little thing.

My guides have recommended retreat for me, I usually have Saturdays all alone since my husband is at work then. A whole weekend retreat or a two-day retreat during the week would be nice. There are places around here to do that, but I haven't really explored them. One place I want to visit nearby is The Light Center. [More]

Tree Huggers Win a Big One!

A long time ago one of my readings mentioned I would be furious about the cutting of trees...........well I think this was the predicted day.

In my last e mail I mentioned all the noise going on outside my house. I then realized the sound I was hearing was a chainsaw. I flew into my solarium to see a man completely dismantling my trees. I threw some clothes on and raced outside to try and stop the carnage. [More]

I found this on my Facebook home page just now and want to share what my FB friend Tony Praill wrote on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 11:38pm. Why should you care what he has to say? I think he puts into words thoughts I have on why I am heeding my Guides call to be on FB now…

It is clear that over the last few years, thousand of people all over the globe are now connected through fb; tens, probably hundreds of thousands, maybe, even, millions, if all friends connected with all other friends. Now the fascinating bit about this is that we are not talking about connected per se, we are talking about connected around a common denominator; reaching our potential in harmony with the planet we inter-depend with. Astounding and very, very potentially potentiating!

An Advertisement...

Today I wish to advertise the fact that I am able to move on with my life now, and it is due to all of you and others who have helped me do work that carries me out of this life and into another that is much more secure and less concerned about whatever bothers us now… I have been informed by my oncologist that I am doing fine and do not have to see him for six months and not only that, I do not have to have blood tests every 3 months now and can safely wait until right before my next appointment.

Update on Ecuador

Some of you will remember our spiritual retreat in Ecuador in 2008… At that time we visited the school and town referred to below… Thought you all would enjoy an update of how that work is coming along today…

Hi Ruth, …I have been in Ecuador for three weeks and plan to stay until November. Have a new friend from Quito who has a non-profit; she wants to help me with ideas for my school.

I promoted a wonderful medical mission here in April - an ophthalmologist from Inverness and a nurse from MSP did the exams. We were set up under tents and the doctor checked 150 people in three days. He will come back to do eye surgeries. Always need funds to complete the school - the Ecuadorian engineer has been doing the work as funds come in. [More]

The other day I got a great letter that contained the following and I told my friend that I would have to wait to hear what can be given without a private reading to everyone here. She is sure it is not just something that she created and that many others have faced this same thing, so I have asked for help from those who teach you and be through this medium…

'Omahgoddess' on the grow again

Over time we have been watching our friend Rebecca change her life and do it so gracefully and definitely that she has not cracked under the weight of it and is still happily married and has two wonderful, well-loved kids to prove it. But now that she is getting better known and others imagine her to still be naive, greed and envy and jealousy are arriving in spades.
