An Unexpected Gift From The Maya

Received this note today from Julie:
I gifted Helen (Maya inspired clay worker) a calendar and she in turn drew a picture after spending a long time with the calendar and art.

She dreams of me from time to time and sees me talking to many people. Anyhow, she reported that she felt Jaguar Bird in full dress beside her as she drew the picture.  She drew four glyph-like shapes with the fourth looking like corn, and then there is a standing figure of a Mayan man with
hand extended. Each of the three glyphs before the corn seems to have some form of three. The third one actually has three dots. The second glyph has a spiral in it. I need to spend more time on this drawing in order to do an interpretation.

We are kicking off the month of November with a party of sorts…Nothing to give away, no food to eat, and no music…but we know it will be fun.  Why? Mandy is back!
Don’t remember Mandy? Well, a lot of you do and have had fun over the years joining us via e-mail and working out ideas and sharing experiences and adventures that could only come from knowing Mandy. Yes, just reading about Mandy in Within the Veil: An Adventure in Time set us all off then…and she is coming back!

If you want to get the scoop before anyone else in your area hears about it…join us on All Saints Day Night at 8:00 PM. You’ll find out then why this is such an auspicious time to announce the latest book that teaches in a novel way from my pen… Oh, yes, it is really wonderful and exciting and goes far beyond what Mandy went to Mayaland to do. You will love it, too!!!

So much to tune into and so much to give to you that will help you move ahead, too…well, you have to be there. Mark your calendar now…and then get ready to party!

Zuvuya...means what, exactly?

Kathy sent in this comment, which we will share with everyone here...because it elicited a message from The Maya now.

I looked up the unusual word 'Zuvuya' on the internet. Found a bevy of sites, one of which offered this  paragraph below.......

The Maya Survive Again, but need an angel or two

I would like everyone to review this article and think about it deeply...what is not written and what is hinted at because too many people have no clue about the nature of the Maya who live not that far away from us in space but in other times.

Their industrious nature and dedication to helping each other is awe-inspiring at any time, but watch how they work now and see what many Americans need to figure out is wise and behave likewise.

Angels of The Maya is nearing completion and will present a radical way to help The Maya here and now and those who are elsewhere as it helps us all ascend in the end.  Look for it in bookstores at the end of this year.

Mel Gibson's Take on The Maya and Our Reality Now

One last thought before we leave for Mayaland...

When Mel Gibson spars with a scholar, you have to wonder, but when he throws a well-known Mayan scholar out, you have to realize that he has a very mean streak going on...no matter what he says about it.

Many Uses of the Mayan Calendar

In addition to its role as a contact to the ancestors, many Maya used the calendar for celebrating significant energy shifts. At such times shamanic kings made prophecies about the future within the new energy. A basis for knowledge was developed about how the energies shifted according to the calendar and in combination with a shamanic connection to the world tree prophecies of relevance to the present moment and the immediate time ahead.

Why not use the calendar once again, based on the deeper understanding at our disposal regarding its meaning.  The Maya are providing access to vast knowledge of the cosmic world that was not been available since ancient times.

Go to the Publications section of this site and review "The Word of The Maya" as scribed by Ruth Lee.

The aspect of the Mayan calendar system that is still in use today is the Sacred Calendar of 260 days. Mayan day-keepers pray daily to the Creator and perform ceremonies that honor the day signs. Among the living Maya the 260-day calendar serves various functions:

Keep track of the energies of each day.
Calculate birth energies of individuals.
Determine the celebration of holy days.
Healing practices.
Prophecy and divination.

Simplified Mayan Calendar?

As we have said in this series of presentations by various authors on the subject of the Mayan Calendar and how it works and what it means...some are easier to understand than others, but each contributes something different or a unique viewpoint.

Read and then let it sink in and notice that this daily work is beginning to make sense.  You are adding to what you already studied and each bit builds more that can help you ascend to a higher level again.

Remember: Mayan Calendar Precedes the Aztec Calendar

Here is yet more information on The Mayan Calendar.  At some point each person seeking to know more about the Mayan way of looking at time will find what he or she is searching for now.  We will try to provide you with materials that report and try to explain it easily and from fresh perspectives, too.

Then meditate and let your mind rest as you explore time!

Mayan Calendar Explained on Galactic Levels

Here is a very interesting lecture on the subject to the Mayan Calendar...basics, suppositions, theories, and the speaker has a wonderful Irish accent.

Check out The Maya, Ethics & 9/11 and the simplistic graphics that explain how the basic Mayan calendar works.
