A Milestone of Sorts

Today we stop to celebrate 3,000 entries on The Blog.  Yes, we have been busy over the years and consistently set up lessons given to me through The Teachers and others who are able to promote peace and work on Earth that is helpful in overcoming any kind of liability or lack of understanding about others, but we still do not have the connection we had when we shared individual letters via the internet.  Today even this means of communicating is ending.

Love and Light in Action

Cheryl sent me this really great video...Meet Babar Ali, a 16 year-old student of West Bengal in India. Every day Babar Ali has to make a six mile journey to school. After he returns from his lessons, he shares what he has learned with more than 800 students who are provided free education in Babar's backyard. At 16, he probably is the youngest headmaster in the world! http://www.karmatube.org/videos.php?id=1758

Handling Bullies

At our last spiritual retreat we delved into the subject of bullies and discovered women today are afraid of bullies who seem to be everywhere. Here is a report on one of them…

Hi Ruth-
How are you?  I hope you are feeling good and got that pesky gall bladder under control. (See Notes at end)   Something wonderful happened for me this week that I thought you'd enjoy.

To Wii or Not to Wii…

Hey Ruth, I’ve been praising my Wii exercise board to my friends this morning.  I got on the scale this morning and I have lost 3 pounds since Sunday when I hooked up my Wii exercise board.  It is so much fun because you don’t realize you are exercising by doing all that movement.  In the evening I normally just sit and watch television or read and now every night I’m doing some type of movement by using the Wii.  There are so many things to do on it.  There is yoga, boxing, balance games, aerobics, strengthening, and last night I even did a Lotus concentration game where you sit on the board and stare at the candle.  If you don’t sit still the candle goes out.  If it is in your budget, the game is selling for $99 and the Wii console for $199, you might want to consider it.  It’s a lot of fun.  I had lunch with my friend Lorraine yesterday and she told me her husband bought her the game for Christmas and he and her children are on it more than she.  But she does love using it when she can and we talked about the games we loved the most. Millicent

Note: Today is my day to talk exercise! Kathy’s husband set her up with a complete program using their home exercise equipment and I mentioned the part my stationary bike has played in keeping my heart in shape. Anyone else want to comment?

Listening to You Intuition

Normally I do not post any of the great invitations I receive daily from clients, friends, and others because that is not the purpose of this medium (pun intended). But, from time-to-time something comes up in which I played an integral part preparing or creating an event, and such is the case with the following.   I met Reggie on LinkedIn and we put our heads together on this event, but it is all hers now…

Are you looking outside for answers that you can only find inside yourself? This is one of the biggest ways women sabotage their true power, joy and success.

Feelings of Gratitude...

Thank you all for making this such a wonderful, awe-inspiring year! Still struggling with 'chemo brain', which is so very annoying. i.e., yesterday totally forgot to go on a hiking trip that i prepaid and have on several calendars.  Anyway, went to see Avatar and was touched that he, too, was celebrating his birthday yesterday--as well as several others in various TV scenes.  Could so many of us be celebrating now?? LOL

Getting a bit personal...

Today, I have a few minutes to spare before going for a sonogram of my gall bladder, Thursday i go for a Pet Scan of it. Can we get any more personal than that here on The Blog? Yes, and I have the urge to share with you here what I received that brought tears to my eyes just now…   For various reasons, the following information will be of help to many others… But I really want to share with you how great I feel after reading the last line of my friend’s note.

4 Eagles and a Rainbow

Sharing a great letter I have to investigate with those who help us with our work. AJ asks about rainbows and eagles and some of you will run to your books and look up such things, but there is always, always more to what is seen by one of our group. This one impacts us all, believe it or not. Look to the end for what came through for me and for you…

Hello Ruth!   I hope you are well. With all our east coast friends eye high in snow, I feel a little guilty here in Seattle with the good weather we have had all winter, or not!!! LOL!!

Time to Celebrate!

Actually, yesterday i celebrated!  So much to be grateful for and especially thankful to all of you who prayed for my healing and recovery from Ovarian Cancer surgery and chemotherapy. We can all take a breather about that for the time being, because it is definitely in remission now.

I saw my oncologist yesterday and he says we can drop back to 6-month check-ups now rather than every 3 months.  I will get blood tests every 3, just to keep an eye on the tumor index number.  My number this time?  5!!!  So deep in the negative range that i can laugh and be happy!  It actually has been dropping, which is most unusual.  His staff was so happy for me!!!  They have so many sad times due to their specialty in OC.  I salute all health care providers of every type and kind!  Thank you all for your devotion to duty and work to find cures.

So, i just got on the internet to write you and found a video wating from AJ Martin to help us celebrate... Enjoy some pole dancing...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWxcVyBRecE

One Brave Little Girl

Have to share something seen on The Bonnie Hunt Show recently. If you are the parent of young children, would your child be able to save you life and be so sophisticated as to want to???…Well, you just have to see this one… Such a great story! Leave it to Bonnie! Listen till the end:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDARfDJw80s

The Passing of an Extraordinary Man…

Leaves all of us left in the world a little bereft and sorry that we did not know him and his work. May God pass judgment on him now and let him go to new and greener worlds.

Hello Ruth, Thanks for the prayers for Don. I am sure the prayers made his passing easier and will ease Lynne's missing him. Lynne's message is below. Much love and many blessings to you!  AJ
