Want to share with you a few thoughts garnered from reading "The ESP Enigma ~ The Scientific Case for Psychic Phenomena" by Diane Hennacy Powell, M.D..  Turning to page 35 we pick up on yet another story of credible witnesses and participants in worthwhile scientific experiments with psychic ability.

Telepathic research was also done on people who could place themselves into a special meditative state.  Some of the earliest research of this type came from an unlikely source: Upton Sinclair, the famous social activist and writer...who won the Pulitzer Prize for "Dragon's Teeth" (1942), a book about the rise of the Nazis in Germany.  He became convinced of clairvoyance and telepathy through his wife, Mary Craig Sinclair, who was able to draw reproductions of sketches that were made by other people in remote locations.  Sinclair's wife would purposely go into a deep meditative state or trance to obtain this information.

You get it don't you?  If not, i found a really good version of it created by Diane Hennacy Powell, M.D.   I discovered her book "The ESP Enigma ~ The Scientific Case for Psychic Phenomena" the other day and enjoyed it very much even if she did not get around to discussing what happens when i 'scribe'.  Her work is outstanding and her background is difficult for lesser beings to put down, but i am sure there will be some who still cannot accept what science knows now about our psychic development.

Before i give you her version of  Einstein's Theory of Relativity, let me share her brief bio here.  I intend to quote from her a lot over the next week or so.

Diane Hennacy Powell, M.D., completed her training in medicine, neurology and psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.  She is a former member of Harvard Medical School's faculty and of a part-time think tank on consciousness at the Salk Institute in La Jolla, CA, and has published articles in neuroscience and neuropsychiatry journals.  She lives in Medford, Orgegon and Los Angeles, California.
