Celebrating Changes in How We Communicate

For years we met via e-mail daily and discussed all manner of things and studied together, too. The group was so hugely successful that every so often I had to meet with a Security Officer of AOL to confirm that everyone was a friend of mine and not some commercial endeavor that should be carried elsewhere in their organization. We would reach 150 receiving daily e-mail and would have to start over and ask everyone to respond once again that they really wanted to receive my ‘stuff’. Cut back for a time, we would grow and have to do it all over again. Anyone remember those days?

We had a lot of fun, but it became a huge burden for ‘moi’ and Birgit suggested I convert everyone to using the new idea of a Blog as our primary means of teaching and reaching out. The Blog has never been embraced by my clients/friends as 'On The E with Ruth Lee'. So, what to do? We are now moving into Facebook and LinkedIn and so on, but The Blog is going to benefit from that because it now seems like a much smaller, safer world. That loss of intimacy and trust so many hated losing when we went to this means of communication now looks better. : )
To celebrate change and all our years of working together via the internet (since 1997) and sharing life, I want to institute one of the things we did a lot in the past. The study of comparative religions. It will be so much better now that we have access to videos and such! Instead of reading so much, you can listen or watch to get the picture. Hope you enjoy it. We’ll try it out for a month to see how it goes.

Celebrating 10 years on The Blog

Hard to imagine that we have been on The Blog this long, but we started out January 2001 and have posted almost 3,000 entries.  For the majority of readers, you did not even work with blogs back then or you did not have a computer for your personal use.  My how we change, and yet remain about the same.

Creating Peaceful Bliss

Is peace bliss or is bliss something you cannot name or place?  I would like you to think about what creates bliss within your life and if you have ever achieved it.  Think on this and then ask whatever comes out of that deep thought to what you would like explained in upcoming times on The Blog.

Each person reading this thinks differently about everything, so why not ask for what you need or what you want to see discussed with others?  Possibly not able to think about abstract or even everyday things because you are now blocked, but give it a try anyway.  No need to identify yourself when you comment now, just go to the Comment box and follow the prompts and write out what you want to talk about now, what makes sense to you and what does not, how much you want and what you are unable to work on even now.

Words of Advice About Life...Have any to share?

Today seems to be a laid-back and easy day to rest and relax and that is what I intend to do, but probably will not get to it until the day is through.

I have been working hard with dreams and a few business details and it dawned on me that something wants to come through for The Blog. Wow! When did that happen last? Not sure if it ever came out that way, but it used to happen often when I met with folks via e-mail daily. Let’s see what is on the way or what is going to help one of us live a better life…. ruth

Brush Up on Using The Blog and Accessing Your Wisdom Now

Blessings Ruth,
I tried using the form on your site to write, but it isn't working for me so I am over here in my email account because I really want to send this to you.

I appreciate you so much for everything you say and do. I'm so inspired to help others and join enlightened spirits in gently raising the vibration of our universe. I'd like to join "the e" email group. Also I want to improve channeling and scribing and want to learn more. I trust that if we are to connect in this way, it will be. A long time ago, fifteen years or more (I was so young, maybe 25 or less), as I remember, a channel said I am channel and also destined to great success through music.

Who in The World Reads This?

What links the following list of 25 entries?  Thousands of hits came in last week to the web site of www.RuthLee-Scribe.com from all over our world, and they are listed here in order of number of hits...from highest to lowest.

Think about this when you comment and write in letters to include on The Blog here and now.  You, too, have the capacity to reach a much wider world than you are perhaps aware of who read, view, and work here with all of us now.

To Subscribe to This Blog or Not...that is the question

Ever notice that little box on the right side marked "Subscribe"?  Well, for those of you who have, what happens then is that you are sent blog entries when they are posted...comments, too, so you don't miss anything!

At some point in time I may have reason to send information to only those who show interest in the Blog via subscribing to it now, and will use it to send you a bonus or whatever then.  hmmmm...that sounds interesting to me, too.

Once you subscribe, you are sent an e-mail that you are required to send back to us that confirms you really did mean it when you subscribed...did not accidentally do it and do not wish to be included.

I think that covers everything you have asked about Subscribing, but if not, comment below and I will get back to you here.

How to Comment on this Blog

One of our faithful friends from On The E with Ruth Lee wrote today:

Question:  I have one question regarding use of the blog.

At the end of each entry, I see there are "Comments", and I am able to view those.  However, where it says "Linking blogs" -- there are various numbers printed, as though there are places to link to -- but when I click on "Linking blogs" I get a page in Technorati, which says "No links to this posting".  Am I missing something?

Hmmm...Let us just say that you should ignore "linking blogs now" and instead drop down below any comments shown to the link entitled "Comments" and use that to communicate any thoughts you might have on that entry.

When you hit "Comments" you will see a box where you will add your thoughts and at the bottom you are asked to type in whatever letters are shown in another box...this is done for security reasons only.  Then hit the box at the bottom that sends your comments to that blog entry.  It will then appear as another comment.

A lot of words to describe a simple procedure...once you do it once... :)

You will love this means of communicating with the universe.  Write often and make many comments!

Drastic Changes Required Re: Sharing Daily

Today marked a day that will long be remembered.  For the last time AOL has warned me that i am sending out way too many e-mails at one time to all who are On The E with Ruth Lee.

I have several ways to handle this:

1.  Send out a letter to all involved and inform them that we are starting the mailing list over from scratch (again) and only those who respond to this letter will receive mail from The Scribe in the future.

2.  Set up dual mailing lists on Comcast and Hotmail and daily mail half the present list out from both accounts.  Not using AOL at all for mailing Sharings.

3.  Notify everyone On The E that we will now meet here on The Blog...going from E to B, so to speak.

I will pray on this and see what comes to my mind by tomorrow this time and follow suit on whatever is decided then.  In the meantime, you can let me know what you prefer or think is best and see what happens.

Again, thank you all for your work on The E with Ruth Lee over the last 9+ years using AOL.  It is unlike any other group of friends meeting anywhere on the internet now---according to AOL.  We have made history, but like everything else...times change and we must obey.

One way or another, we will keep in touch and help as many as we can with one response a day...that teaches and shares testimonies and prayers and all sorts of work that comes through the air.

New Categories Added For Ease in Reading

Thanks for all of your work and your efforts to make this new Blog a success!

Several new categories have been added to help each reader find the niche he or she most wishes to look at first.  Once you read what you are most interested in reading...use the side bar (box on right side of page) to link to the other articles and comments that are posted under various categories meant to help you sort through all the myriad of ideas that filter in here and go out there.

Have a really great day...and remember, without your comments we are not able to know what you want to know more about or would like to discover.

Helpful Hints on Using This Blog

Just a few notes on proper protocol and to answer some of your questions about The Blog and how to effectively comment on work here.

Katherine mentioned that she did not Subscribe to this Blob because she participates in 'On The E with Ruth Lee' and gets The Sharings daily....THIS BLOG IS NOT THE SAME AS WORKING 'ON THE E WITH RUTH LEE.'  Those Sharings are not open or available to everyone who happens to work with me or buys books or meets me somewhere...it is a very rarefied work that we do there! : )

This Blog is open to the entire universe!  Everyone is encouraged to enter our world and ask questions and work with us ....much like we do through E-Mail...but here we post all comments t for everyone to read and share comment...at least for now.

By Subscribing to This Blog...you will be notified of events and things that we will not post for the entire universe to read and comment about. FOR EXAMPLE:  We might let you know where we are going and how long we will be away and other such privileged information. We may make special gifts and offers to those who participate on The Blog with Ruth Lee, too. We are just starting this amazing work...we do not know how far it may go...but YOU do, and we are going to be able to help you a lot.

Noticed another problem...some of you wanted to comment on The Blog, but it was not posted because you did not "Enter text that you see in the image: (box shown)"   You must enter the letters (could be numbers, too) shown in another box nearby...that is the 'text' required to be posted on The Blog.  This is a security measure meant to discourage spammers and other such intruders.
