(My husband) is having tremendous back pain and can hardly walk. I placed my hands on his back and prayed and was allowing God to work through me. I had to stop because my back and shoulders started hurting enough that I could not hold the sitting position any longer. I figure you are the one to answer this for me. I feel like I am picking up his energy, pain. Is there a proper way to guard myself from that? Or, maybe my back is out of whack too:-)
Thanks!
Meditating to do:-)
Love,
The illusion that you are unable to be well is not always quite illusory or without foundation. You have to be able to know what is going on that causes the problem and solve it before you can bring about a lasting cure.

When you get the same UTube video sent to you more than three times, it means what? To me it means someone needs this information who reads this blog! In the interest of health and well being, let me recommend that you view this brief video on a problem you probably never knew anything about until now...The Lemon in your drink is probably contaminated! Now what do we do?

Begin exercizing by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side. With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax. Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer.

Ruth Notes: It is heartwarming and extremely encouraging that one person's poison can be another person's salvation. Like many others i have met here on the internet over the years (although i have never tried chatrooms) and worked with, without ever meeting them in person, miracles do happen! People do rouse themselves out of years of spiritual neglect and come back to self respect and living as they always could. Thank God for the love of the 'perfect' stranger. Our work here has flourished as a result of so many of you being willing to talk and write out your thoughts to folks who stopped by for a short time, took what they needed, and have gone on to become wondrous success stories of their own.
Today Millicent wrote to say she had completed Angel of The Maya and had gone to www.Amazon.com and entered a positive and encouraging review of the book for others who buy books there to see. That then led her to something else, as the mind tends to do at times...and she sent me something about a Mayan sweat lodge that a very, very expensive resort was offering outside of Cancun.
I wrote that it was something i have never see in Mayaland or heard about...and so the journey began...but ended quickly with the aid of the internet...i discovered why we are urged to continue to plan to visit Oaxaca soon. That journey is not over...so we continue to gather information on reasons we will be there soon....and we also found confirmation of work we did in Mexico last year. The healing nun, whom we have mentioned many times when referring back to our work there...works much like what is described below (minus the sweating). What is described here is so interesting to all healers and those who wish to promote good health through indigenous practices that work...that you are urged to go to the site and read more...or just enjoy the bit i have copied here:

Porcupine Clinic, located in the small community of Porcupine, South Dakota on the Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota [Sioux] Reservation is out of heat. According to Stella White Eyes, Administrative Assistant for the Clinic, the Clinic has closed its doors until it can find resources to fund their heating costs.
Porcupine Clinic is the only independent Indian community-controlled health clinic in the United States. It is not connected with the Federal Indian Health Services (IHS) program and is funded primarily by grants and donations. Unfortunately, those resources have become exceptionally rare this year.
