I received the most wonderful powerpoint presentation last year when I was finishing up my chemo for Ovarian Cancer, and I waited to share it with some who like to see such things from time-to-time. Today, I found an even better presentation and it is a video I shared on my Facebook page. You will remember that I started out this FB odyssey because it looked like a great place to share pics and videos with everyone. It has expanded waaaayyyy beyond that! LOL

Thought you might find this as interesting as I do. Norie Huddle in her book describes:
"The caterpillar's new cells [after it has built its cocoon] are called 'imaginal cells.' They resonate at a different frequency. They are so totally different from the caterpillar cells that his immune system [that is the immune system of the worm] thinks they [the new imaginal cells] are enemies... and gobbles them up . . . But these new imaginal cells continue to appear, more and more of them! Pretty soon, the caterpillar's immune system cannot destroy them fast enough. More and more of the imaginal cells survive.

In 2005 i started filming scenes and whatever came up while the camera was running, but have yet to view anything i did then or later. Waiting for instructions on how to best use these visions to benefit me and all i love. for this reason, i was drawn to view what others filmed while on safari or visiting the zoo. Good reasons why we need to be prepared for anything to happen! :)

What a great video! Even if you are not a lover of the wild and its animals, you will be able to appreciate this pictorial essay. BTW, if you are interested in visiting John of God in Brazil, the best guide for the trip would be Rev. Patty who takes several groups there every year. Let me know if you are interested in more details

A woman brought a very still, elderly duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the duckie’s chest. After a moment or two, the vet shook his head sadly and said, "I'm sorry, your duck, Cuddles, has passed away."
The distressed woman wailed, "Are you sure?"

Article sent to us by Renee, written by: Laurinda Morris, DVM, Danville Veterinary Clinic, Danville, OH
This week I had the first case in history of raisin toxicity ever seen at MedVet. My patient was a 56-pound, 5 yr old male neutered lab mix that had eaten half a canister of raisins sometime between 7:30AM and 4:30PM on Tuesday. He started with vomiting, diarrhea and shaking about 1AM on Wednesday, but the owner didn't call my emergency service until 7 AM.
