Jorge Munoz is one of the most inspiring people you'll ever meet. A school bus driver by day and an angel by night. Every night for the past 5 years, he has gone home and cooked food for hundreds of people on his old stove. He then goes to a street corner in Queens, New York and feeds those that are hungry. He does this with his own money because "it's the right thing to do". He is a man that wants to help, and is the epitome of an everyday hero. Update on Feeding the Children Report
Last month I wrote about the kids going hungry after school and on weekends and the worry about how to feed them and their families once school ends. This week the newspaper ran a follow-up on how everyone in LeeCounty is pitching in to feed the kids, plus the huge number of new families on food stamps and hitting the food pantries now, and so on. It is truly heartwarming how many are helping and doing more than ever before in this time of huge crisis, but only a few are always working on this problem much like Jorge Munoz shown in this video. Hurrah to all who see a need and attempt to fill it! May they always have whatever they need.
Offering small loans to low-income Mexicans to help them start their own businesses is what Carlos Danel and Carlos Labarthe started out to do in 1990, when they co-founded Compartamos to provide poor residents of Mexico with access to economic opportunities. Beginning as a nonprofit organization supported by aid from international donors, it served mainly indigenous, rural women in some of the poorest regions in Mexico. Today some question the amount of interest charged by them, but no doubt much was accomplished by women of Mexico with the help of a small business loan. In 1994, I sat down at my computer to write something new. Wasn't sure what would come out, but had been promised that if i diligently scribed The Books of Wisdom from The Teachers of the Higher Planes a gift would be given to me in the form of new ways to write, possibly another book of some kind. I was excited and when i saw that first page come out and stare at me from the screen, i changed and have never been the same. Really!!

Today I am humbled by a letter from one who is really reaching out to others on my behalf and on behalf of those I channel and work with in Spirit. I am ever so grateful to all of you who support this work and explain it to others.
While reading Angel of The Maya…(once again)
I became aware that it isn’t all about me. Life is about helping others reach higher ground. Working and living in prayer; staying connected to God; listening and watching for signs that nudge us along. The book raised my awareness of the little things, the God-given emotions, feelings and dreams that are meant to guide us along our path. To become aware of what is inside your own mind—a self-awareness that transcends anything you have previously known, even if it means you have to overhaul how you interact with other people…Being truthful and honest with yourself and others even if it hurts. Perfection is far off, but that is not really the goal.

Julie got the following letter from a friend who is currently in Guatemala studying
Spanish. She loves going to Guatemala and has made several trips…she is writing reports back home to the states to a list of folks with whom she is sharing her experiences in Guatemala.
Julie writes: “The content has so many connections with our travels and with Angel of the Maya and weaving that I just had to send her letter on to you….Katie makes one awful comment about the possible wiping out of handicrafts in 2 or 3 generations, which she says may be good because they are living in such poverty. I found that somewhat puzzling because she seems to be genuinely interested in Mayan culture.

Dear Ruth,
A couple months ago I took a position as a manager. A step I avoided for over 20 years. I decided to review the Teachings in 'The Art of Life' and 'The Work Begins' because they deal so directly with human interaction.
Obviously I don't talk to my employees about spiritual matters, yet I do plan on teaching them all something that will improve their life situations. If I could freely teach them one paragraph it would be from the 'The Work Begins,' and I quote: “The world exists within each of you, and if you desire to change it, you do. It is not nearly as complicated as certain philosophers have described. It is a simple mechanism that permits you to explore different aspects of the human condition.''
Millicent sent in this note that touches on various things we have discussed over the years in various ways, and always had a lot of fun with it, too… One thing we did was have a fan club for Mandy that ran for many years and we discussed what Mandy would do in this situation and so on and it was always interesting…and why Millicent is mentioning it now.

I appreciate you so much for everything you say and do. I'm so inspired to help others and join enlightened spirits in gently raising the vibration of our universe. I'd like to join "the e" email group. Also I want to improve channeling and scribing and want to learn more. I trust that if we are to connect in this way, it will be. A long time ago, fifteen years or more (I was so young, maybe 25 or less), as I remember, a channel said I am channel and also destined to great success through music.
