Daily Thought for September

Our texts for the month will be selected at random from "Angel of The Maya" and highlight various metaphysical lessons provided there.  It will be up to the student to figure them out and ask questions if help is required...  The Page number will be posted and you can use the book if you have it...or not...

Pg 37: When the dyers demonstrated their deep purple shades, Mandy was sure the main perpetrator or traitor would do something strange right then, because he strained his lips into a grimace and spat on the floor near several women who were standing aloof from their group.  They were unaware that he was near until he spat.  One woman jumped at the splat and looked about her as if scared, while his face registered smug satisfaction at her reaction.  His thoughts seemed to then dart into another line, but Mandy followed him easily since he was a man without a great mind and his spine was as crooked as a weak sapling often buffeted by strong winds.  This elder did not yet understand that his stance was no longer one of pride and righteousness within the tribe, but that of a malcontent, thus a danger to everyone.  The other men intently watched him now.

Now, what stand out most to you and why???  Write a few lines and then see what happens the rest of the day....

Daily Thought for September

Chapter Fourteen begins on page 103 and we pick up a message there...

Looking back at Jorge as they walked toward the door, each was stunned to see Jorge apparently on fire.  Was it anger?  He had never before appeared to be a warrior!  They believed he was not fiery enough or willing to war, so they had committed treason to the order and wanted to leave.  Jorge was not a revolutionary, and they all wanted to fight and get on with the war--but not fight The Lord.  As Jorge merged his mind with his soul in time, the elders aligned with others out of time.  They stood and approached the departing group of malcontents while Jorge signaled his lieutenants to pat down each person as they passed and urge them to come back, but not actually saying that.

For anyone who wonders about what is behind this scene, don't wonder, just write what you see and what comes to you intuitively now....

When is a coinincidence a coincidence???

Those of you who know and love Mandy and her friends will get a chuckle out of this, and those of you who have no idea may want to check it out to see what people are talking about. LOL

Hey Ruth!
I just finished Angel of the Maya last night, and what a surprise to me!!! I think you knew that the "J" in AJ stands for Jeanne, (had no idea!) and I used and still do sometimes go by Jeanne (my family calls me Jeanne)....and so I thought it was great that the scribe's name in Angel of the Maya is Jeanne (and of course I think you are the character!!!)....
But!!! When I got to the page where Jeanne is talking about how it is okay to be divorced from "Steve", BANG!!!  My Ex-HUSAND's name is STEVE!!! I almost fell out of bed!!!  I know both names are common, but still it was a great coincidence to me!!! LOL!!!

Mandy’s Hot Mexican Chocolate

As I say over and over again, my art does not follow my life, rather the other way around. In Angel of The Maya there is much talk about the great ‘hot’ hot chocolate they use to induce euphoria and celebrations of life. Never had a recipe for it myself, but the other day the Food Editor of my local paper produced this one, along with a few comments worth noting, too…

Test a Video

This is a test to show me how to place videos here on the blog.  Now if i can just remember the various steps!!!  I have this video and a couple others on another web site along with an interview and several interesting (at least to me) clips about my latest novel, Angel of The Maya.  Click here if you want to see more:  www.AngelofTheMaya.com

In case you were wondering about me, too...

Dear Ruth,
This might seem weird to you and many others, but I would like to know more about you—personally or your private thoughts. I have worked with you and read your work, but I cannot quite imagine who you are and what you look like. Is that too weird to ask? I would really appreciate seeing a picture of you soon.

Dear Friend,
That is not going to happen, at least not soon. However, if you view the following video available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zziU4KfoyJQ, you can catch a glimpse of me if you study it closely.

As for wanting to know my personal views and more about who I am, there is one and only one interview available! It is posted at: http://www.angelofthemaya.com/aboutauthor.html
Oh, yes, there is also a page that lets provides my comments relative to random samples of Angel of The Maya. Go to: http://www.angelofthemaya.com/excerpts.html

Everything can be easily accessed by going directly to www.AngelofTheMaya.com and clicking on the various headers and following visual cues.

Angel of The Maya is at work right now

Hey Ruth, I had lunch with my friend Nicole today and told her …about the organization that lets you decided who you want to loan money to.  I found this group of women from Guatemala (link below) and it reminded me of Angel of the Maya, especially since Maya is the name of their group. Millicent

Thank God for All of You

I want to go on record now as saying I am overwhelmed with the help a few of you are giving me with launching this latest attempt to reach the world of today with amazing information about the last days of the Mayan Calendar and the work we all do here on Earth.

I am especially happy that Millicent included "Angel of The Maya" in her news releases for her book "The Next Step" to bookstores all over the US and Canada, as well as beyond. I cannot thank her enough for this labor of love and unselfishness.  May all she does thrive and her ability to write increase!

Rave Reviews Can Be Posted on YouTube Now, too

Wow!  I am so impressed!  Thank you so much to all of you who went right over to the YouTube link and tried to leave a message for others to read and hopefully get them to think about reading the book or finding out more about the Maya.  Thank you for pointing out that the site was not taking your responses.  I reported it to Lynne and she wrote back to all of you:
Hi Friends-
I made an adjustment to YouTube so you can easily post your comments there now.  I wish I could post them for you, but I cannot.  If you would be so kind as to put your wonderful words on the review page, it would be a great help in promoting the book.

Here's a link to the exact page in YouTube.

Thanks so very much!
Love and blessings, Lynne
