If you watch PBS at all, you know who Rick Steves is right now. If you do not, Rick is an educator from Seattle who has been traveling to Europe for over 20 years and sharing his experiences and how to travel there and anything else he can think of to write about and film.
I found this slim journal interesting because I can hear him talking and I enjoy his sense of humor and take on life. If you love to travel and especially enjoy Europe, this is a great little book that has no price. That is the only problem with this book! You have to catch Rick on one of PBS’s drives to raise money since they are not supported by ads or to any great degree by the government.
During PBS pledge drives they give away amazing gifts and gauge which shows to buy and include in their daily programming. That’s how I got this book, plus a ton of other stuff. Just thought you would want to know how worthwhile the give-aways are on PBS.
