Don't Forget Those Who Have Given So Much for Country

Ever-thoughtful Marge forwarded this great idea for all of us to chew on and use:

When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to this address.  If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get.

When making out your Christmas card list this year, please include the following:

          A Recovering American Soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical   Center
          6900 Georgia Ave., NW

     Washington , D.C. 20307-5001

November 20, 2008 Thought for The Day

The work of a team is usually better than what one man or woman working alone can achieve, but what if it isn't?  What if each person withholds their ideas and thoughts hoping others fail?  They all look bad and no one is blamed, so you all live in shades of gray.  Brighten the life you have and shine whatever you know on whatever is not seen correctly now.

Money and a Consciousness Shift?

Renee forwarded this video that runs long and covers much of the same territory as previous clips on the subject of the monetary system in the US.  This one does make economics a bit more interesting and explains things a bit better, too. If you have neglected to pay attention to the downturn in our economy so far, this might be a good place to start getting involved.

This is a powerful video about 1.30 hr.  About the Money Trail and the Powers to BE to come to an End now with the Consciousness Shift. If you want, You can fast forward to scan the video.

It is ALL Perfect.
Peace and Love

November 19, 2008 Thought for The Day

There is nothing you can do about your life without going into detail and boring yourself and possibly someone else, so why not just let it all flow in a peaceful narrative that sums up what you know or do or love and then drop the subject?  You will be remembered for it.

Meditation on Ecclesiastes

Thanks again to Jan for forwarding this lovely rendition of a favorite meditation.

THIS IS   a WONDERFUL    SCRIPTURE   TO HOLD ONTO THROUGH LIFE.....
This is beautiful.  Enjoy!!

November 18, 2008 Thought for The Day

The future of today is not exactly tomorrow as you perceive it on your calendar.  it is a time and place that you create and you emulate in your mind and then accept that its time has arrived.  Today need not ever end, but for most you prefer to believe tomorrow will be a much better day.  Why?

Your Dreams - An Odyssey of Self Discovery

From time to time I like to clue all of you in on what is coming up soon. Kathy is finalizing a new book on Dreams developed around a Dream Glossary that was compiled by herself and others in my Dream Discovery Club. There are no plans now to continue working in the Club format and no plans so far on how to share the work gathered there, so it is great that Kathy, with the help of Marge and others, went ahead and created a book to help all of you and others, too, honor your dreams and figure out what they mean. Here is a letter that she sent to a large internet group that features dreams.

November 17, 2008 Thought for The Day

Think about your life so far and how much you have overcome to win and be as you are.  Does it take a minute or so, or are you gone for the rest of the day wondering about how you have been able to do so much?  Take time only to praise God and then move into today and create a better tomorrow.

November 16, 2008 Thought for The Day

There may never be another day like today.  You may never feel quite the same as you do right now.  Can you imagine feeling better?  Can you imagine feeling great and overcoming all your supposed mistakes?  If not, try to pray and then pray again until it goes away or you see a better way.

Honoring Our Nation’s Commitments as Sears Does is Rare

Got this letter from Jan:

I know I needed this reminder, since Sears isn't always my first choice. It's amazing when you think of how long the war has lasted and Sears hasn't withdrawn from their commitment. Could we each buy at least one thing at Sears this year to back them up?

November 15, 2008 Thought for The Day

Thinking about what you want to do versus what you usually do all day is not going to change you today.  However, to think and then design and finally to execute your plan brings such huge dividends!
