(My husband) is having tremendous back pain and can hardly walk. I placed my hands on his back and prayed and was allowing God to work through me. I had to stop because my back and shoulders started hurting enough that I could not hold the sitting position any longer. I figure you are the one to answer this for me. I feel like I am picking up his energy, pain. Is there a proper way to guard myself from that? Or, maybe my back is out of whack too:-)
Thanks!

Love,
The illusion that you are unable to be well is not always quite illusory or without foundation. You have to be able to know what is going on that causes the problem and solve it before you can bring about a lasting cure.
When you are upset and nervous and pray for another, you have to first be cleared of all static and working pain before anything can go forward to help others. If you have anything wrong in your own body, for example, it will not work without adjustment or even more pain to you then…so we advise to never go ahead and pray and lay on hands if you are not well then.
What people want is the impression of good health more than the trouble of keeping well. You are now aware that to keep your back strong and able to channel your energy and intuitive work you have to sit erect and use good posture and build your strength. This is easy for the average human being, but if you are sedentary or move very little and reproduce the same movements over and over again…you abuse that area and you can wear it out over time.
What can you do? You have healers on Earth who have prepared their entire lives just to help others. Yes, some say doctors are only working for large salaries, but they are not talking about doctors of medicine so much as quacks who exist in every type of work there is today. You cannot just decide to help out.
We want you to know that your work is going to flow and develop, so do not over-extend too much and try to give away all of your energy to others. If you do, you have burnt out or destroyed the link you have been given now to help others. Take your time and pray and think about what you are saying and let that be all you need do.
When the mind enters into healing and begins to think it is the chief agent of change, you will definitely feel pain. Do not fret or regret…you learn by doing it and making mistakes.
