Thus sayeth Barry from LA, and Barry went on to say a few other things that some will find interesting...i know i did.
Balance?! Remember that my alter-ego is "Runyan Wilde"! But yes - I always have to see both sides of everything; this confuses some people, and some others think they can judge me for not being "definite enough" while some judge me for being TOO definite. Oh, well - we will all stand before Judgment ... when? Well, there is only NOW, isn't here?
So that makes "final Judgment" to be right now, this moment! Here I am, naked before God, and finding out that He just couldn't possibly love me more than this ocean of bliss that we all seem to take for granted, and yet deny it at the same time.
It also makes both my birth and my death (and that of the whole universe!) to be this very Moment as well, so what opportunity, what unfathomable responsibility does that give me, knowing that THIS is the only Moment there ever was or will be?
One of the things I respect most about you, Ruth, is that you welcome alternate points of view. I've seen so many others who, once they get into a position of spiritual leadership, become quite territorial and eliminate the voice of "the competition." My view is that we keep each other honest, which supports the quality of our service to others.
Love with Light, Barry
"If you don't see, don't blame your eyes; your imagination may be blind." (paraphrased from Mark Twain, A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court)
"The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in periods of moral crisis, maintain their neutrality." - John F. Kennedy, quoting from M.L. King, quoting from Dante.
