I just love Lynne's newsletter Book Bites! Today i was shocked and dismayed to read about the revolution Amazon.com is causing in the book industry. I was not aware of it until i read it there.
Thinking it over and having no idea what will happen to my work on Amazon.com, i noticed tucked away on the left side of the page a comment about a web site where an author is collecting stories about "Prayer Works Because..." I went to this web site and am delighted to see a great idea come to life. I intend to send in my story about following the advice of many others and praying The Powerful Prayer to The Holy Spirit years ago and ending up a spiritual scribe for the rest of my life.

I found a prayer when I pulled out that book that I felt I must step outside and speak it with every fiber of my being. Hands raised, tone high and bold, with more conviction flowing within me than I had ever expressed from the core of who I AM.
Well, it was late and I have neighbors close so I didn't do it honor that nudge. However I am thinking I should take a walk in the woods and let it out.
I'm intrigued over your powerful prayer. My mind is asking what you prayed, but I know prayer is a very sacred and personal thing.
I think for me, when I was feeling that strong nudge, it was all about total surrender in such a wonderful way. I could feel that I was open to all wonderful things God wants for me, and that was the way to accept my gifts fully.
