Yesterday's Blog entry on the economy produced a lot of letters sent directly to me rather than added as comments to that entry. I have urged everyone to comment directly to the entry so everyone can share in them, too.

My own local paper, Bonita News-Press, blared across the front page: NO CONFIDENCE! SW Fla., U.S. consumers more pessimistic than at any time since Iraq invasion
Wow! I had forgotten that the economy was this bad when the war started in Iraq and ended all worries for some. Only 1 million people are directly impacted by this war according to Front Line, so the average American cares very little if the war goes on and on if oil comes down in price. Can that be true???
