Prayer Requests

Back to our business of working and praying and helping out wherever possible, we need to remember those of us who are going through tough times--perhaps alone, and can use more energy and thoughtful words than we usually find in today's life. 

Please keep Marge present in your mind for a short time and ask for God's blessings upon her now.  Marge sent along this message with her valentine to me and i wish to share it with each of you now:

Dear Ruth,

   ...Don is still at Rebecca Residence where they treat him very well.  He asks me daily where he is and I tell him he is in a place like a hospital recouperating.  He accepts that, but does not like me to leave.

     Don was an outstanding athlete and engineer/business consultant in his lifetime and would never give up living for anything, but God is taking time to let Marge get used to this life in which she makes all decisions and has time to be of use to herself as well.  Marge has seen both sets of parents out of this world and never shirked responsibility.  We wish her every blessing and relief from the burden of this last loving presentation she is preparing now to please God.

This morning i received the following letter from our dear friend Kellie...and those of you who love your dogs and pets of all kinds know what she is going through now.  Please keep Kellie in mind also.

Hey Guys...

Say a prayer...my Zak likely has Lymphoma cancer...after being so healthy...this came upon us very quickly and unexpected....he's in the hospital now...still waiting on a final diagnosis sometime today...any positive thoughts would be helpful.
