Some letters i receive daily NEED to be shared with others who care about the work we are all doing here. We may not all agree on what 'work' means or even what The Teachers of the Higher Planes say it means...but they do get you moving and working!
One of my favorite fans of The Teachers' classic works is Joe from Ft. Myers Beach, FL... I think you will figure out why in a few moments. Here is the last letter from Joe and the ones that preceded it this past week...
Ocean Meditation
Dear Ruth,
I just returned from Daytona Beach. I took my Daughter and her best friend on a mini-vacation before they start middle school Monday. Anyway, I was able to do some surfing while I was there. I'm not a real good surfer, so I had to stay extremely focused on the waves...
After a few hours had passed, I took a minute and thought about the ' work.' I realized what I had been trying to do without much success in my meditation room at home...I had been doing it for hours! I thought about the real me while floating on that massive body of water. I thought about how the teachers talk about finding 'you'. For a second I knew exactly what they where talking about. It's weird though, I kinda saw at the same time how I've been pretending to be different people, like an actor, to fit different situations. I certainly see now why they [The Teachers] dwell so much on this one subject.

I was packing and had to decide on reading material. I've decided to reread the Teachings starting with 'Art of Life'. I just finished rereading three of Jane/Seth's books and I'm excited to blend the knowledge Seth offers with The Teachers.

When I started reading 'Art of Life,' a Christmas card from you fell out. It reminded me of the holidays and waiting for 'The World of Tomorrow' to be delivered. It is always such a busy time of year for me, but when I got that book I 'stopped the world' and made time for it.
