Sharing News About What We Do Here

Dear Ruth,

I've had an interesting few days!

I chatted with a friend yesterday and shared what I've been up to and she felt inspired by the Career Development Club, too!!  That was so neat that she has joined, too!! 

I also coached a client yesterday who shared her previous night's dream with me!  I thought it was interesting that she offered a dream up to me then.  She wondered out loud what she thought it was about and offered an interpretation.  I added to her interpretation some ideas and then she interpreted it even further.  She was satisfied with the end result and I could tell it made her happy.  It has been about a year since a client has shared a night-time dream.  I thought this was very interesting now that I'm in the Dream Discovery Club.

My day today has been interesting, too!  Many people milling around and this is different for me since I'm working at home and used to a lot of quiet time.  I wondered if this opening is a result of our Tuesday Night class and emptying my mind of all that I hate and our other activities.

  A client I've been working with for a year now, offered me a testimonial of her experience and wanted to know how she can send me referrals. . .She wants to be clear on what to say to people and how to send them to me.  After our call, I immediately transcribed who I am and what I do. . .to make it easy, effortless, and joyful for people to refer me to people who can use my services.  It was so easy to write. . .like it just came through me. . .no thinking needed. . .like inspired writing.  We talked about that, too, last night.  I feel like I'm trusting this aspect (GIFT) more.  THANK YOU!!

Then one of our old friends called.  The last time we chatted. . .it was like an informal coaching session.  Today she filled me in on what's happening in her life and how so much has opened up for her in her life.  She has recently met a Shaman from California who is coming to visit her this weekend.  I'm finding it interesting that the Shaman aspect is opening up for me again.  I studied with a Medicine Women for a year or so. . .I think in 2001. . .I feel a real affinity for the Shamanic Ways and it was great to learn about the culture, spirituality, and practices.  Anyway, when I spoke with her today. . .more informal coaching happened. . .She's feeling lost in her government work position. . .We talked about a few techniques she was aware of and can use to assist her.  This reminds me of my Career Development Scribed Message, to include in my plan working with those who are lost.

Then I had a young fellow show up at the door to share with me financial savings tips for Gas & Hydro.  We got to talking and he was inspired by the work I do and wanted to take away any information I could give him.  He shared how "The Secret" really inspires him and how he wants to learn more.  Then another woman showed up to pick up her marketing information that I had held on to for her from last month's networking event.  She was so excited about our house and loved the exterior "retro" look and feel.  Through our natural sharing, my business was promoted and highlighted!!

Then Eric and I went for a walk.  My local spiritual mentor drove by then. . .She drove a new way today and was in need of directions to the post office.  She drove off and we decided to walk by the water (we weren't planning on it).  We saw a friend of ours who is in a business partnership with the woman who just showed up at my house earlier, and this time both Eric and I did some informal coaching and helped her with some questions she had about her business.  One area we talked about was managing our energies and intentionally shifting our moods up (reminds me of the spiral we all drew last night).  A really neat day and really interesting!  What's really GREAT, too, is that this is the first time I can remember where both Eric and I coached someone together.  I know the opportunity was there before, but it just didn't feel like the harmony or being "insync" was there in the past.  One of us would end up dropping out and let the other one lead.  This time we knew how to work together.  SHARED LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATIVE COMMUNICATION METHODS has been on my mind recently!   All in all, an interesting day and one I felt inspired to share!

Oh yes!  I also found it interesting that when you said inspired communication often rhymes.  The inspired poetry that comes through me rhymes.  I also noticed when I was rhyming when speaking today.  That was neat to see and experience!
