I mistakenly thought I had a list of the 9 insights from the Celestine Prophecy but they are not listed clearly in the book. So, I skimmed the book and gathered these notes on the 9 insights.
There were a couple of references to the Maya- specifically about how they ascended as a group because they'd raised their vibration. It was hinted that the lost manuscript described in the book was written by an ancient Maya before the ascension.
Here's my take on the 9 insights:
1. Be aware of coincidences and synchronicities.
2. Society is waking up and become more spiritually evolved
3. Appreciation leads to increased energy and spiritual power. Some discussion of meditation here but does not call it meditation
4. Conflict saps energy from both parties
5. Increasing appreciation, love, and mystic connection to Spirit increases energy and lets you send energy to others
6. Understanding your life purpose is part of your spiritual quest. Childhood experiences reveal some of the dramas you came here to master
7. When connected to Spirit, breathe in energy. Then pay close attention to intuition, inner guidance, dreams, and recurring thoughts
8. Everyone we meet has a message for us. Relationships can sap or increase energy. Flow energy to others by sending love and appreciation.
9. The world is evolving rapidly, getting lighter, with the goal of creating a spiritually based society and eventually ascending like Christ.

Maybe it's time for all of us to go back and review this book again...with all of our new insights firmly in place by now...we may see things we missed in the past...
