Coming Up In Pittsburgh...Angels of the Maya

At first glance you may not see any connection to my novel Angel of The Maya, but those of you who are already into the book and living the life now...you will want to see how it all comes together when you meet Mayan elders and others who are celebrating The Way of The Maya.

Mark it on your calendars...and if you do attend...let us know what you found and if it helps you or not.

December 13 In Pittsburgh, PA:

THERE IS A RIVER FLOWING NOW, VERY FAST:
The 13 Indigenous Grandmothers,
The Mayan 2012 Prophecies,
and Pittsburgh’s Connection to Both

Miracles have converged to bring to Pittsburgh two prophetic voices addressing the needs of this historic moment that we are living in as we approach 2012 -- a sacred call to turn away from destruction and towards world unity. It is an honor and a blessing to have two elders travel to our city for a special evening program:

Mayan elder Flordemayo, one of the grandmothers of the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, will speak about their work to bring peace to the world and "light the way through an uncertain future." Born on the Nicaragua/Honduras border, she is a healer/curandera living in New Mexico, and founder of the Institute of Natural and Traditional Knowledge.

Quiche Mayan High Priest Don Alejandro Oxlaj is the primary keeper of the teachings, visions and prophecies of the Mayan people, day keeper of the Mayan calendar, and head of the National Mayan Council of Elders of Guatemala. He will speak on Pittsburgh's role in the Mayan prophecies of 2012.

Also speaking at this evening program will be award-winning New York filmmaker Carole Hart, who is documenting these historic voices in her film For the Next Seven Generations: The Grandmothers Speak.

You are invited to be a part of this event!
Sponsored by Epiphany Works, LLC. To learn more, phone Vikki Hanchin at 412.241.7001.
Suggested donation is $25 per person. Proceeds will benefit production of the film For the Next Seven Generations: The Grandmothers Speak and the work of the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers.

I'm taking some people with me to the event, if anyone wants to join me, we'll be leaving from Uforia Salon and Spa next Thursday to participate in this grand event. Kathy
