Daily Thoughts
Before you work out of your mind on a project that is not needed now, think about where it fits into the scheme of your life. If you work hard to please another and never feel pride that you did it for your own life, you will leave that work one day and not have a good thought about all the time you spent doing it now. Try to keep your mind open to when you are alone and able to be your own boss and not have to worry about the cost.
Hi Ruth,
I was adoring the outdoors today! Setting on my porch swing and soaking up the sunshine and the constant breeze. It was the MOST perfect day!
I pulled out some notebooks to jot in and found where I had written and connected with my guides, I think. LOL I remember writing it and the answers came pouring through before I could finish writing the question. In another session that I found, I was told to write, write, write, to connect.
Interesting that I was told twice to go chant!
I know you’re busy, but thought you might find it interesting. And is it really this easy to connect?

This is a first! I just have to report about the most wonderful relaxation I have experienced in a very long time. I feel energized and ready to take on the world now!
What is really weird is that I have been listening to my own recording of a session that I taped for an upcoming series of classes I will be offering this fall. I have never before been able to truly enjoy my own work in this way! It was so amazing! And the wildest thing about it is that my cat, Gypsy, followed along with me and relaxed and stretched and tensed as if she were listening to the cues, too.
I just love it and I feel that is okay to say because I did not really create the text, just scribed and repeated it and then listened. I am going to listen to it every day until the classes begin in September and report then about the total impact of beginning or ending your day with this deep, deep relaxation work. Hope you can feel the tentacles of that deep relaxation reaching out to you! I feel maaaahhhvelous, as Billy Crystal would say.

Work on your own and find out what you alone can do. Only then can you admire what others do that is not easy for you and yet they do it so much better than your very best effort. If you cannot do that, advise your mind to seek out jealousy and study it and rid yourself of it today.
Today I thought I would share with all of you a wonderful letter from one of our friends that keeps us all in touch with what is going on around us all now, and always. Think about how you can apply her lessons to your own life.
Hi Ruth,
I have been so busy with family/kids things that I have been struggling to center the past few weeks. I had the thought come to me early yesterday that I had not been meditating and not connected with my guides, and I desperately needed to! I apologized to Moses as it seems that he was sending me a direct message. I refer to this one particular guide as Moses.
OK, relevance to your email sharing winning pictures.

Weak and tired you can get very little done on this plane, but it never stops you from meditating and praying and connecting with God.
A smile for you from Lynne with love!

This came my way today …. Have a magical day. Blessings, Kay
Thanks, Kay... I think many others will enjoy it as well.
“I have simply stopped arguing with reality. How do I know the wind should blow? It's blowing. How do I know this is the highest order? It's happening. Arguing with 'what is' is like teaching a cat to bark. (I love that line!) It's not very fulfilling. I am my friend and no longer confused. The way I know that reality is good is that when I argue the point I experience tension, fear and frustration. I lose - not sometimes, but 100% of the time. It just doesn't feel natural inside: no balance, no connection. I want reality to change? Hopeless! Let me change my thinking. Some of us mentally argue with 'what is.' Others of us attempt to control and change 'what is,' and then tell ourselves and others that we actually had something to do with any apparent change that took place. This leaves no connection or room for God in my life. In the peaceful experience of no opposition to God, I remain aware of my nature: clear, vibrant, a friend, a listener.” ~ Byron Katie

Thoughts are not missles from God. They are the result of synapsis that flow and grow in the healthy brain all the time and are equal to the greatest minds of all times. it is up to you to decide and become wise or let this time flop.

Did you create a new idea or wait for a wave to come over you and wash away the desire or the need to follow that line? Which are you now--a thinker or one who waits for others to advise what is wise?

For Americans traveling abroad, nationality has never played a more controversial role than now. With world politics as they are, an anti-American sentiment is on the rise in many countries in the Middle East and Western Europe. But that doesn't mean it's unsafe or unsavory to travel in regions where anti-Americanism runs high. Still, it's good to know there are still plenty of countries in the world where the overall feeling toward Americans is more pro than anti, making travel plans to our list of America-loving lands all the more appealing.
NOTE: My aim while traveling is to be a good will ambassador for America and to leave each country a bit richer ($$$) for my having been there. Tourism puts money directly into the hands of the middle classes better than anything I have ever discovered. Do you remember how many countries I have reported back about lately???
Here are the 10 Countries as Reported by AOL Travel:
